THE TEXTURES...



The textures below are not merely just patterns but a representation of my architects works. In some of them it can be seen that there is a use of regular shapes representing a sense of 'ornamentation without cluster' which is a concept explored by Mies Van Der Rohe as seen in one of the previous posts. I contrast to this, there is also evidence of textures which are overlapped, repetitive and assembled in way representing 'unevenness'. This in a way explores the radical investigative spatial research and the way in which a 'busy' environment is interactive with the audience.
